Victor A. Michaelsohn

Victor A. Michaelsohn, 86 of Fargo, ND formerly of Ellendale, ND was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2023 at St. Catherine North, Fargo, ND. Victor was born February 12, 1937 to Fred and Lydia (Miller) Michaelsohn on the family farm south of Wishek, ND. Victor attended rural school until the 8^th grade and then helped on the family farm. Victor married Gladys Seefried on November 19, 1959. Victor and Gladys made their home at Ellendale, ND. They had five children Leslie, Gloria, Warren, Fern and Billy. Victor had many friends. There was never a stranger to Victor always friends. He loved to tell stories and make memories with family and friends. Victor lived life to the fullest until his health declined. Victor retired from the State Highway Department where he worked for 28 years. Victor’s wife Gladys died on March 14, 2007. Victor married Esther Moser on May 21, 2010. They made their home in Jamestown, ND later moving to Fargo. At the time of Victors death, they made their home at St. Catherine North Retirement Home. Surviving members of Victors family are his wife Esther, his children: Leslie Michaelsohn of Fargo, ND, Gloria (Doug) Woodring of Tea, SD, Warren (Angie) Michaelsohn of West Fargo, ND, Fern (Todd) Sessing of Wahpeton, ND and Billy (Missy) Michaelsohn of West Fargo, ND; step-children: Randy (Kim) Bucholtz of Fargo, ND, Debbie (Curtis) Albright of Bismarck, ND; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Darlene Lickfelt. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, first wife Gladys and siblings Allen (Monika) Michaelsohn, Ruth (Clarence) Ulmer, Dorothy Friez and Francine (Christ) Rutschke, step-son Robert Bucholtz.

A funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Church of the Nazarene, Ellendale with Pastor Glenn Raynor officiating. Burial will be in the spring 2023. The service will be live streamed here on Victors obituary page. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale.
