Ryan R. Pomplun

Ryan Pomplun, 51, of Ellendale, ND, died unexpectedly on September 15, 2023, at his home. Ryan was born August 10, 1972, to Ramon and Della (Walz) Pomplun in Ellendale. He attended and graduated from Ellendale High School. He attended Valley City State University and Northern State University. Ryan was a talented artist, drummer, photographer and poet. He sold many commissioned drawings. He was an avid reader. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and living on the farm in his youth. Ryan had a good sense of humor. He was fun loving and had a kind and generous spirit. Grateful to have shared in his life are his mother, Della Pomplun of Ellendale, ND; his brother, Tyler Pomplun of Alexandria, MN; his aunts: Carol Pomplun of Flourtown, PA; Karen Pomplun of South Windsor, CT; Gail Pomplun of Ellendale, ND. and Rayme (John) Schlichenmayer of Inver Grove, MN. His uncle Doug (Peggy) Walz of Aberdeen, SD, as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Pomplun, his grandparents Herb and Alice Pomplun and Emil and Rachel Walz; also his canine friends.
